RYA Day Skipper
Shore Based Course Autumn 2010 Clevedon Sailing Club offers a fast-track theory course, taking place over weekends in October 2010. The ‘Day Skipper’ shore-based course is aimed at sailors who wish to acquire navigation and seamanship qualifications which will complement the RYA’s practical sailing schemes. Successful completion of five days of classroom sessions and the relevant exams will lead to the official RYA ‘Day Skipper’ shore-based qualification. No previous qualification is required. This is an all-day classroom course running for five days over the following Saturdays & Sundays: October 9th - 16th – 23/24th & 30th 2010 Royal Yachting Association Instructor - Stuart Scarbrough A deposit of £50 (refundable should we be obliged to cancel the course due to the unlikely event of lack of numbers) will reserve your place on the course. The course will be held at Clevedon Sailing Club and students will be entitled to use the social and sailing facilities within the Club Rules. A number of vacancies are available for this special intensive course. Successful candidates will be eligible to apply for Coastal Skipper Shore-based courses.
